Story of Gulf Childhood

I have spent majority of my childhood in Kuwait, if you ask me "how long" ? Then it dates back to the time when Thursday & Friday were the weekend holidays.

The most important thing I felt blessed was the school timing as back in India it used to be till 4:30pm and here we can reach home by 1:30pm.

OMG, who can forget those afternoon naps from 3-4pm. It was lit 💥

No doubt, for everyone school was special mostly because of their friends, and if you're in Gulf, we get to have friend from all over Asia and have been exposed to diverse traditions and cultures which help us to be open-minded to a lot of things and let us enjoy & adapt new places easily.

The bonus is in break time we get to taste food from north, south, east and west 😁.

Its all fun and games, but there is that one dreadful day when your best friend leaves the country for good to settle in their homeland, leaving behind you and the memories alone in this glamorous desert.

You will slowly learn that people come and go as you grow older, growing in Gulf gives you an early lesson of the reality that will help you to not to take people for granted since nothing lasts forever.
